Police who do exactly what they are employed to do are not crooks by any stretch of the imagination.

You are basing your contention on a complete misunderstanding of one case. You are also finding fault where no fault lies.

As I said in my previous comment, if changes to the responsibilities of law enforcement officers are desired, the ability to change those responsibilities lies with the elected representatives of the people, not with the police themselves.

In other words, if you want change, get off your butt and work for it. Quit relying on others to exercise your civic responsibilities.
