Women are the fastest-growing demographic for concealed-carry permits. It would make sense to market to this group, especially since there are a number of top-ranked women in the ranks of competitive shooters.

I am a bit doubtful that my wife, my older daughter, my sister, and my wife’s three sisters had any sexual issues involving guns, but I know they all either own or have owned guns. My sister even taught marksmanship to cadets in Canada some 30 years ago.

Since men and women have different shapes, it make sense to create products that will allow women to use and carry firearms.

Holsters designed for men can be very uncomfortable for women; they can actually force the butt of the gun into the ribs, which is painful. This is true of both outside-the-waistband (OWB) belt holsters and inside-the-waistband (IWB) holsters. In addition, shoulder holsters can create issues for women because of the need to reach across the chest to reach a gun carried under the other arm.

Many women’s fashions are not “firearm-friendly.” While there are some issues with carrying a handgun in a purse, it may be the only option available. I am not sure why offering attractive purses with accommodations for a gun are so bad or carry any sexual connotations at all.

Yes, guns were invented to kill. So were knives, swords, bows and arrows, spears, pikes, and clubs. However, just like bows and arrows, guns can be used for other purposes, including subsistence hunting, which is still a “thing” in the United States.

After years of seeing tripe like this article, I have come to the conclusion that the only ones that really have a gun fetish are the gun control advocates and the media.

I have known a number of gun owners over the years, but I haven’t ever met anyone that fit the descriptions that those addicted to pointless background checks and foolish bans fantasize about. I am including people who are firearms professionals and writers; people that make their livings from firearms. Heck, I made my living from firearms for a couple of years and I was never as obsessed with them as the gun control advocates seem to be.

You guys create your own nightmares. Quit demanding that we become players in your fevered dreams.
