Try writing something pro-gun on Medium. Better yet, try it on the Daily Kos or AlterNet. This is especially true when you're trying to correct factual errors in their reporting.

The left is not one whit nicer, nor one whit more tolerant, than the right.

Mr. Oppelaar and his wife could have simply posted a "No Guns" sign on the door of their establishment. Instead, he opted to make a statement of Facebook.

Okay, not only is it his right but it's important that he speak up for his beliefs and state his opinions.

Seeing people with guns doesn't bother me, but I get a bit concerned when vigilantes appear.

Having spoken up, however, Mr. Oppelaar poked his head up out of the foxhole in plain view of every sniper in the Internet world. It should surprise no one that they opened fire. The vitriol shouldn't surprise anyone, either.

If it's any consolation, the yahoos do move on as soon as the next sparkly thing catches their attention.
